Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Roamo uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them, and similar technologies such as local storage, to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and — only with your consent — to measure and support the Service.
2. The categories we use
Strictly necessary: required for the Service to work — signing in and keeping your session secure, remembering your theme, and storing your cookie choice itself. These are always active and cannot be switched off.
Analytics (consent required): help us understand how Roamo is used so we can improve it. No analytics run until you allow them. (We currently load no analytics tools; this category is reserved so any future analytics remain consent-gated.)
Marketing & affiliates (consent required): power our optional hotel-booking map, which is provided by our accommodation partner and sets its own third-party cookies, including to credit Roamo for bookings. This loads only after you allow marketing cookies.
3. Third-party cookies
When you enable marketing cookies and open the hotel map, our accommodation partner may set cookies under its own domain and privacy policy. Embedded maps you open (for example a location map) may also set cookies from their provider. We do not control third-party cookies.
4. Managing your choices
When you first visit Roamo, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Customize your choice. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working if you block strictly necessary cookies.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Questions? Contact us at support@roamo.ai.
